
Pauline Wong is a photographer born and raised in Singapore. She graduated with Diploma in Fine Arts (Distinction), specialising in Art Photography at LASALLE College of the Arts.
Rooted in the practice of storytelling, Pauline's works are often inspired by social issues in surrounding environments and her curiosity about utopia. Photography is Pauline's main preferred medium. She often integrates different mediums and approaches in her practice and presents them alongside images to accentuate the narratives she addresses in her works.
Pauline has exhibited extensively around the world with organizations such as the 9th Dali International Photography Exhibition ‘Life is Elsewhere – Reconfiguration and Distance’, Dali – China, 41st Daegu International Grand Exhibition, Daegu – South Korea, Project 3V (Visualise, Voice and Vision) at FASS Gallery, Sabanci University, Istanbul – Türkiye, Shooting Home Youth Award Class of 2020 at Objectifs, Singapore, 11th France + Singapore Photographic Art Award Finalists Exhibition at Alliance Francaise de Singapour, Singapore and ‘Veiled Prefaces, Jotted Lines’, Singapore. Pauline is the recipient of several awards namely; Special Choice Award at the 41st Daegu International Grand Exhibition, Top 10 finalist in the 11th France + Singapore Photographic Arts Award and Her World Plus in collaboration with Calvin Klein watches and jewellery, as well as a residency programme at *SCAPE Community Arts Residency. Pauline's recent work, titled 'Middle Child Diary' has been featured in the Straits Times.
